The Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center is a year-round facility, offering recreation and relaxation in natural mineral water.
The hot springs water is collected underground and piped about 8 miles from the source, high in the majestic Rocky Mountains. This sparkling, clear and odorless water was enjoyed by the Ute Indians. It flows continually into the Salida Hot Springs pools, refreshing and warming them naturally.

A 25-meter, 6- lane pool dominates a large portion of the building. At approximately 84° – 86°, this pool is delightful for swimming, diving and recreational play. Two lap lanes are usually available.
Across a divider wall, a smaller 4- foot pool holds water at approximately 95° – 100°. The zero-depth entry provides easy access. This pool is excellent for warm aquatherapy, exercise and soaking.
