Every instructor at SHSAC has had their certification update from the Red Cross's latest material to provide you with the newest and the latest techniques to help your children become better swimmers. Check and see how the new program and times work best for you and your family. The American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Lessons follow a natural progression of water skills through six levels. Students must demonstrate the ability to perform the skills from the previous level in order to enter the next level. Tadpoles, Bluegills, Dolphins: preschoolers age 3-5 years. Level 1 - 4: age 6 - 12 years. A complete list of the skills taught in each level is available in The City of Salida Recreation Guide. (Available now at SHSAC) You will receive a 10% discount for sibilings or for those registering for more than one session at a time. Space is limited, so register early. Payment must be made upon enrollment. Private lessons and private group lessons available at your conveniece, as well. Please contact SHSAC for details.
